ReplyMitra sells a bundle by tier. We sell one thing by the reply.

Their plans climb by feature — a flow builder here, custom branding there — in the way most software is sold. Ours has one tier of features and a meter that only moves when a model writes a sentence, which is a stranger shape and worth explaining honestly.

Checked ReplyMitra’s own site

Both products are Indian, both answer Instagram in rupees, and the meters are different enough that the sticker prices do not compare directly. Everything about ReplyMitra below comes from their own site and was checked on 24 September 2026.

Their shape: tiers of features

ReplyMitra's site lists a free plan, Creator at ₹899 a month and Business at ₹1,299 a month. Across those tiers it names comment keyword triggers, story reply automation, instant DM replies, lead capture and forms, real-time analytics, link-in-bio tools, AI FAQs, a flow builder from Creator upward, and custom branding on Business. The site also states the platform runs on Instagram's official API with built-in rate limits and safeguards.

That is the standard and perfectly sensible way to sell software: you climb a ladder and each rung adds capability.

Ours: one rung, and a meter

There is no feature ladder here. Every tier has the whole product — the builder, the gate, Activity, the inbox. What is metered is narrower than anything on their page: one credit buys one reply written by the model. Replies sent from a template you wrote are free and unlimited, however many people receive them. The free tier is 100 credits with no card, and packs start at ₹499.

Their column is from replymitra.in, checked 24 September 2026. Rows that say we found nothing describe the pages we read, not the product.

Two of these rows are theirs on merit. The interesting argument is only in the fifth.

The fifth row, at length

Every tool here handles the repeatable comment. Type "link", get the link. That is solved, on their product and on ours, and it costs nothing on either.

The comment that is not solved anywhere is the specific one. A creator selling a ₹1,999 preset pack gets "I already have the June pack, kya isme naya hai?" A clinic gets "sir mera weight 92 hai, ye programme chalega?" A boutique gets "shipping Guwahati COD?" Those are not FAQ entries. They are one person's situation, and the honest options are an answer written for them, a prepared answer that does not fit, or silence.

We write that answer against a voice profile built from replies you actually sent, and charge a credit for it. When the model is unsure or produces something ungrounded, your own template goes out instead. That fallback is the point: a generated reply is an upgrade over your template, never a replacement for it.

Your own numbers, before either subscription

You answer 18 of 60 a week and miss 42. At 12% those 42 are worth

7,560a week, unanswered

42 missed × 12% × 1,500. The 18 you do answer are already worth 3,240, which is the number worth protecting first.

What happens before anything sends

Ten checks run in a fixed order: kill switch, connection, takeover, window, dedupe, cooldown, quiet hours, rate budget, credits, content safety. The first failure stops the send and records why. So "why did that person not get a reply" is a line in Activity rather than a shrug — usually the window had closed, or you had already answered them by hand and takeover stood the automation down.

Activity filtered to blocked replies, each row naming the check that stopped the send
A refusal rate that is not zero is a good sign. Zero would mean nothing is being checked.

How it is set up, screen by screen

  1. 01

    Connect Instagram

Three permissions — read comments, reply to them, send the DM you wrote. Meta handles the login, so your password never reaches us, and disconnect is on the same screen.

  2. 02

    Write the trigger

Pick the post, then type the words people actually use. Matching ignores case and punctuation, and a negative keyword like "not interested" holds the reply back.

  3. 03

    Write both replies

A public reply under the comment, a private reply carrying the link. Both are templates you wrote, so both stay free however often they fire.

  4. 04

Test on yourself, then go live

The test runs the whole pipeline and the same ten checks against your own account and spends no credits. Nothing reaches a follower until you press Go live.

  5. 05

    Read Activity in week one

Every send and every refusal with a reason. This is the screen that tells you whether to widen the keywords or narrow them.

What is identical

Both run on the official Instagram API, so both are bounded the same way: 24 hours to answer a DM, 7 days to answer a comment, no messaging strangers, no broadcast to followers. Written out in is Instagram DM automation safe.

Both bill in rupees, with the GST invoice and no forex markup that a registered business notices at year end — the arithmetic is in the cheapest way to automate Instagram DMs in India.

Who should buy which

Buy ReplyMitra if you want the bundle: a link-in-bio page, forms, flows and branding under one subscription, at a price you can predict to the rupee.

Buy this if the only thing you actually want improved is what the DM says, and you would rather pay nothing in a quiet month. The full price list is on pricing, and the nearest comparison to read next is DMKaro, who are cheaper than both of us.

When ReplyMitra is the better answer

ReplyMitra is the better buy for a creator who wants the surrounding kit in one subscription. Their site on 24 September 2026 lists link-in-bio tools, lead capture forms, a flow builder from the Creator plan and custom branding on Business — we ship no link-in-bio page, no forms product, no canvas and no white labelling, so a creator who wants those in one bill should take theirs.

Questions people ask

What does ReplyMitra cost?
Read from their site on 24 September 2026: a free plan at ₹0 a month, Creator at ₹899 a month and Business at ₹1,299 a month, with the flow builder listed from Creator upward and custom branding on Business. Their pages also name comment keyword triggers, story reply automation, instant DM replies, lead capture and forms, link-in-bio tools, AI FAQs and real-time analytics.
Do they run on the official Instagram API?
Their site states the platform uses Instagram official API with built-in rate limits and safeguards, read on 24 September 2026. We run on the same official Graph API. Both products therefore live inside the same limits — a DM within 24 hours of the last message from that person and a comment reply within 7 days — and neither can sell an exemption.
What is the actual difference in what gets sent?
An AI FAQ answers from a bank of answers you prepared. A voice profile writes a new sentence for the person who asked, using replies you actually wrote as the model of how you sound. Both are useful; they fail differently. A FAQ is silent on a question you did not anticipate, and a written reply costs a credit each time it is produced.
Which is cheaper month to month?
Theirs is a fixed ₹899 or ₹1,299 and ours depends entirely on how repetitive your inbox is, because templated replies here are free and unlimited. An account whose comments are five recurring questions will spend very little with us; an account where every message is different will spend more than their Creator plan. Two weeks of your own inbox answers this faster than any table.
Can I try both at the same time?
Yes, if you keep them on separate surfaces — one tool on comments on a Reel, the other on story replies or incoming DMs. Pointing both at the same keyword on the same post means one person receives two DMs seconds apart, which teaches you nothing and makes both products look careless.
