QuickDM sells you a faster queue. We sell what the queue is carrying.

Their plans are separated by how many DMs an hour go out, which is an unusual and quite honest way to price this. It also means the question you have to answer is not which tool is cheaper, but whether your problem is throughput or wording.

Checked QuickDM’s own site

Two Indian products on the same platform, priced on completely different things. Everything below about QuickDM was read from their own pages and checked on 24 September 2026.

Their meter is the clock, not the contact

QuickDM's pricing page is separated by delivery rate. The free plan, Infinity Access, delivers up to 20 DMs an hour with follow-before-DM for up to 100 followers and an email collector capped at 100, and includes unlimited automations, unlimited auto-replies on comments and Reels, story replies and direct DM automation. Pro Growth, shown at $10 a month against a struck $30, lifts delivery to 185 an hour and removes those two caps. The page carries an India toggle labelled ₹399 next to the global dollar price, and their own note says viral posts queue on the free plan and deliver as capacity resets. Their footer lists the business in Kandivali West, Mumbai.

Pricing the hour rather than the person is unusual, and it is a more honest meter than most. It says out loud what everyone in this category is actually selling on a big day: a queue that drains at some rate.

Ours meters something else entirely

One credit is one reply written by the model. Replies sent from a template you wrote are free and unlimited, however many people receive them. The free tier is 100 credits with no card, packs start at ₹499, and nothing is metered per contact or per follower.

Pay for a faster queue

Sensible when the same message has to reach a lot of people quickly — a giveaway, a lead magnet, a launch where the link is the whole point and everybody gets the identical link.

Pay for the sentence

Sensible when the messages differ from each other. A sizing question, a Guwahati COD question and a "will this work for oily skin" question are not the same DM and a template cannot pretend otherwise.

Their column comes from quickdm.app/pricing, checked 24 September 2026. The last row is not a difference: Meta rate limits apply to everyone and both tools queue.

The honest bit about viral posts

Nobody sends four hundred DMs in a minute. Instagram will not have it, and a tool that tried would get the account restricted rather than the sale. So both products queue. The difference is what you are paying to change.

On theirs, paying changes the drain rate. On ours, paying changes what the messages say — the queue drains at a safe rate either way, and the rate budget is one of the ten checks that runs before every send.

What a week of unanswered comments is worth

You answer 18 of 60 a week and miss 42. At 12% those 42 are worth

7,560a week, unanswered

42 missed × 12% × 1,500. The 18 you do answer are already worth 3,240, which is the number worth protecting first.

What the ten checks are for

Before anything sends here, ten checks run in a fixed order: kill switch, connection, takeover, window, dedupe, cooldown, quiet hours, rate budget, credits, content safety. The first failure stops the send with its reason recorded, so a reply that did not go out is readable afterwards instead of mysterious. The one creators notice first is takeover — reply to somebody by hand and the automation stands down on that thread immediately.

Setting it up, five screens

  1. 01

    Connect Instagram

Three permissions: read comments, reply to them, send the DM you wrote. Meta runs the login, your password never reaches us, and disconnecting is on the same screen.

  2. 02

    Write the trigger

Choose the post, then the words people actually type. Case and punctuation are ignored, and a negative keyword such as "not interested" holds the reply back.

  3. 03

    Write both replies

A public reply under the comment and a private reply carrying the link. Both are templates you wrote, so both are free and unlimited at any volume.

  4. 04

Test on yourself, then go live

The test runs the real pipeline and the same ten checks against your own account and spends no credits. Nothing reaches a follower until you press Go live.

  5. 05

    Read Activity after a day

Every send and every refusal with a reason. This is where you find out whether the automation is behaving before your audience does.

The test result screen showing the public reply, the private reply and the gate checks that ran
The test sends to you and nobody else, runs the same gate, and costs no credits — so the first thing you judge is the wording, which is the thing that matters.

Which to buy

Buy QuickDM if your problem is that a lot of people need the same message and you want it out faster than a free tier allows. That is a real problem, it is the one their pricing page is built around, and a per-hour meter is a clean way to sell it.

Buy this if your problem is that the messages should not all be the same, and you want to be able to ask afterwards why a particular reply did not go out.

Both of us bill in rupees with a GST invoice, which for a registered business is worth the arithmetic in the cheapest way to automate Instagram DMs in India. The rest of our price list is on pricing, the closest Indian comparison to this one is DMKaro, and what both tools can and cannot do inside Meta's windows is set out in is Instagram DM automation safe.

When QuickDM is the better answer

QuickDM is the better buy for an account whose problem is delivery volume rather than wording. Their pricing page on 24 September 2026 shows unlimited automations and unlimited comment and Reel auto-replies on a free forever plan, with the paid tier lifting delivery to 185 an hour and removing the follow-before-DM and email collector caps — if you are running giveaways or lead magnets at scale, that is the shape you want.

Questions people ask

What does QuickDM cost?
Read from their pricing page on 24 September 2026: a free forever plan called Infinity Access with delivery up to 20 DMs an hour, follow-before-DM for up to 100 followers and an email collector capped at 100; and Pro Growth, shown at $10 a month against a struck-through $30, with delivery at 185 an hour and those caps removed. The page carries an India toggle labelled ₹399 beside the global dollar price, and their footer lists the company in Kandivali West, Mumbai.
Does a per-hour delivery cap matter?
It matters exactly when a post travels. Their pricing page is candid about it: on the free plan viral posts queue and deliver as capacity resets. That is a real trade-off rather than a flaw, because everyone in this category queues at some rate — Meta enforces limits of its own that no tool can buy its way out of.
Does PostEngage cap sending per hour?
We run a rate budget as one of the ten checks before a send, for the same reason every tool in this category does: Instagram rate limits are real and a burst looks like abuse. What we do not do is sell the rate as the difference between two plans. Our meter is the writing, so a template reply going out to 400 people costs nothing at all.
Which one should a giveaway account buy?
Probably theirs, if the giveaway is one keyword and one link and the bottleneck is sheer volume. A giveaway is the most template-shaped thing on Instagram: everyone types the same word and everyone gets the same reply. Our meter only earns its keep when the replies differ from each other.
Can I run both at once while I decide?
Yes, as long as each tool watches a different surface. Put one on comments on a specific Reel and the other on story replies or incoming DMs. If both watch the same post for the same keyword, one person gets two DMs within a second of each other and neither tool will look good.
