All comparisons

TailorTalk sells a sales agent. We sell the reply under the Reel.

One of these is an AI agent that works a conversation across channels and is billed by the conversation-day. The other charges for one written sentence at a time on one surface. The gap between those two sentences is the whole comparison.

Checked TailorTalk’s own site

These two products are further apart than the category label suggests, so the useful thing this page can do is describe the shapes accurately. Everything about TailorTalk was read from their own pricing page and checked on 24 September 2026.

What they sell

An AI sales agent. Their pricing page lists Starter at $39 a month for 400 conversations with Instagram and website, Growth at $89 a month for 1,600 conversations across all channels including WhatsApp, Pro at $279 a month for 6,000 conversations, and Enterprise on request, with Indian pricing shown from ₹7,999 a month. A conversation, in their definition, is all the messages exchanged between the agent and one customer within a day. The company is TailorTalk Private Limited, Bangalore, and the page carries a Meta Partner badge.

Priced that way, the product is built for a back-and-forth: qualify, answer, book. A conversation-day is exactly the right unit for that, because the number of turns is unpredictable and you do not want a meter ticking inside a sales chat.

What we sell

One surface and one action. Instagram comments and DMs, through the official Graph API. One credit is one reply written by the model; a reply sent from a template you wrote is free and unlimited, however many people receive it. Free tier 100 credits, no card. Packs from ₹499.

An agent that holds a conversation

Right when the job takes several turns across channels — qualifying, answering objections, getting a booking into a calendar, continuing on WhatsApp tomorrow.

A reply that closes a loop

Right when the job is one turn: somebody commented under a Reel, they asked a question, they need an answer that sounds like you, and then they either buy or they do not.

Where the comparison actually bites

There is one situation where both products are plausible: a creator or small brand whose sales all happen in Instagram DMs, where the questions are mostly one-liners and occasionally a real conversation.

For that account the question is what share of the volume is one-liners. A hundred people asking "price?" is a hundred templated sends here, which cost nothing, and a hundred conversation-days on a per-conversation meter. Twenty people having a genuine back-and-forth is twenty conversation-days there, and here it is however many replies the model had to write inside them.

Run your own numbers before either subscription

You answer 18 of 60 a week and miss 42. At 12% those 42 are worth

7,560a week, unanswered

42 missed × 12% × 1,500. The 18 you do answer are already worth 3,240, which is the number worth protecting first.

What we refuse to do, which is most things

No WhatsApp. No website widget. No Messenger, Telegram or SMS. No flow canvas, no broadcasts, no sequences, no analytics product. If that list reads as missing features rather than a smaller scope, TailorTalk is the better purchase and this page has done its job.

What is here instead is a narrow product with a lot of care in one place: a voice profile built from replies you actually wrote, so a generated reply reads like you; and ten checks before every send — kill switch, connection, takeover, window, dedupe, cooldown, quiet hours, rate budget, credits, content safety — where the first failure stops the reply and records the reason.

The setup, end to end

  1. 01

    Connect Instagram

Three permissions: read comments, reply to them, send the DM you wrote. Meta runs the login, so your password never reaches us.

  2. 02

    Write the trigger

Choose a post or your next post, then the words people actually type, Hinglish included. A negative keyword holds the reply back when someone says "not interested".

  3. 03

    Write both replies

A public reply that keeps the post moving and a private reply that carries the link. Both templates, both free at any volume.

  4. 04

Test on yourself, then go live

The test runs the real pipeline and the same ten checks against your own account and spends no credits. Nothing goes to a follower until you press Go live.

  5. 05

    Read Activity after a day

Sends and refusals with reasons. Widen or narrow the keywords based on what you read there, not on a hunch.

Both products sit inside these two clocks. An agent that holds a conversation across days still cannot reopen a DM window that has closed.

Choosing

If your revenue arrives through more than one channel, or the job is a conversation rather than an answer, buy theirs — that is what a conversation-day meter is for, and we ship none of it.

If Instagram comments are the whole problem, start on the free tier here, put your four commonest answers in as templates, and see what is left over. The price list is on pricing, the Indian comparison nearest this one is ReplyKaro, and what both tools are bounded by is in is Instagram DM automation safe.

When TailorTalk is the better answer

TailorTalk is the better buy for a business that wants one AI agent working WhatsApp, Instagram and the website together, with a booking-shaped sales conversation rather than a reply. Their pricing page on 24 September 2026 lists all channels from the Growth plan and counts a conversation as a day of messages with one customer — we do not touch WhatsApp or the web at all, so a multi-channel sales motion belongs with them.

Questions people ask

What does TailorTalk cost?
Read from their pricing page on 24 September 2026: Starter at $39 a month for 400 conversations with Instagram and website; Growth at $89 a month for 1,600 conversations across all channels including WhatsApp; Pro at $279 a month for 6,000 conversations; and Enterprise on request. Indian pricing was shown starting at ₹7,999 a month. They define a conversation as all messages exchanged between the agent and one customer within a day.
How is a conversation-day different from a credit?
A conversation-day covers everything said to one person that day, however many turns it takes. A credit here covers exactly one reply written by the model, and replies sent from your own templates cost nothing at all. Theirs is the better unit for a back-and-forth sales chat; ours is the better unit when most of the volume is one answer to one comment.
Does PostEngage do WhatsApp or website chat?
No. There is no WhatsApp, no website widget, no Messenger and no Telegram here, and none of them is a roadmap item we are being coy about. If a real part of your revenue arrives through any of those, this comparison ends here and TailorTalk is the honest answer.
Which is cheaper for an Instagram-only creator?
Ours, in most cases, because the floor is different: our free tier is 100 AI replies with unlimited templated replies underneath and no card, and packs start at ₹499. Their entry plan is a monthly subscription designed to carry an agent across channels. If Instagram comments are the whole of your problem, you are not using most of what their plan is priced for.
Can both run on the same Instagram account?
Only on separate surfaces. Give one tool the comments on a post and the other incoming DMs or story replies, otherwise the same person gets answered twice in the same minute. Keeping them apart for two weeks is also the only comparison that tells you anything: read the replies each one produced and decide which you would have sent.
