Two products with similar names, aimed at different networks, doing opposite halves of the same idea. If you arrived here from a search, the fastest useful thing this page can do is tell you which half you are actually shopping for.
Reading engage-ai.co on 26 August 2026: the headline offers a LinkedIn engagement community, the deliverable described is fifteen comments and real likes on every post you publish, distributed thirteen on day one and one each on days three and five, allocated across community members. A Chrome extension called Engage AI ChatGPT for Social sits alongside it. Their pricing page, checked on 26 August 2026, lists $50 a month for an individual and $250 a month for a group with unlimited clients. Every network named on that page is LinkedIn.
PostEngage does none of that, anywhere. We do not touch LinkedIn. We do not comment on other people's posts. We do not like, follow, or engage on your behalf.
One tool helps you show up in someone else’s comments. The other handles what happens in yours.
A note on the name, because it costs people money
There are two companies trading as Engage AI. The one described above is at engage-ai.co. A different company at engageai.pro, read the same day, sells AI voice agents, chat agents and workflow automation wired into CRM, inbox, calendar and finance systems, with pricing stated from £497 a month and custom automation from £2,500. Same words, unrelated products. Check the domain in the address bar before you put a card in.
What we do, and the shape it takes
PostEngage answers Instagram comments and DMs through the official Instagram Graph API. You connect the account through Meta's own OAuth screen — no password ever reaches us. An automation is a small, boring object: a post, a set of keywords with any-of or all-of matching, negative keywords that stop it firing, a public reply, a private reply, and a switch for capturing the person into Leads. Advanced adds first-time senders only, quiet hours, and restricting the automation to specific posts.
Then two buttons. Test on myself, which sends the thing to you so you can read it before anyone else does. Go live, which is the only moment it starts touching real people.

The genuinely transferable idea
There is one thing worth carrying between the two products, and it is not a feature.
Engage AI's proposition rests on commenting being where relationships start on LinkedIn — not the post, the comments. That is true on Instagram too, and it is why our whole product sits there rather than in a scheduler. The difference is direction. On LinkedIn you go to other people's posts. On Instagram, if you publish anything that travels, the people come to you, in volume, asking four or five variations of the same question, mostly while you are asleep.
Which is why our meter is what it is. One credit is one AI-written reply. A reply sent from a template you wrote is free and unlimited, however many people receive it, because a repeated question does not need a model to answer it. Nothing is metered per contact or per follower. The free tier is 100 credits with no card, and packs are ₹499 for 500 credits, ₹1,699 for 2,000 and ₹4,499 for 6,000, or $6.99, $22.99 and $59.99.
Before anything sends
Ten checks run in a fixed order: kill switch, connection, takeover, window, dedupe, cooldown, quiet hours, rate budget, credits, content safety. The first one to fail stops the send and records its reason in Activity, so a reply that did not go out is something you can read. Takeover is third, because the moment you answer a thread by hand the automation should stand down — not after it has finished drafting, immediately.
Voice DNA is built from replies the account owner actually wrote. When a draft is not grounded in those words, or the model is slow or unsure, your own template goes instead. The generated reply is the upgrade; the template is the floor, and the floor ships whenever anything is off.
What we deliberately do not claim about them
We have not used Engage AI, so there is no performance claim here and there will not be one. Everything above is quoted from pages on their own domain, read on 26 August 2026, and where their pages were silent — how the extension writes a comment, what the community's members are told, whether a free tier exists elsewhere — this page says nothing rather than guessing. That rule applies to every comparison we publish and is written down in our methodology.
Which one you need
If your pipeline comes from LinkedIn posts and you want more people engaging with them, Engage AI is the product and we are irrelevant to you. If your inbox fills up on Instagram every time something performs, that is our half, and the comment-to-DM funnel is the mechanic worth understanding first.
If you want to see the rest of the field before deciding, every tool we get asked about is compared here, the ManyChat page covers the largest product in this category, and our methodology sets out how each of these claims is sourced and when it gets re-read.
