QuickDM prices something most tools hide: the rate at which your queue drains. Their pricing page, read on 24 September 2026, shows a free plan delivering up to 20 DMs an hour and a paid plan at 185 an hour, with a note that viral posts queue and deliver as capacity resets. Their footer lists the company in Kandivali West, Mumbai.
That is an honest way to sell this. It also means an "alternative" search usually starts from the wrong diagnosis.
Two different bottlenecks
Throughput. Four hundred people commented in an hour, each needs the same link, and the queue is draining slower than the comments arrive. Real problem, and a faster tier fixes it.
Wording. Forty people commented, all forty got a DM within seconds, and half of them were asking something the message did not answer. A faster queue makes that worse, not better — it delivers the wrong sentence sooner.
Where throughput genuinely matters
Giveaways. Lead magnets. A launch where one link goes to everybody. These are the most template-shaped things on Instagram: everyone types the same word, everyone should get the same reply, and the only variable is how fast it drains. If that is your use case, buy on delivery rate and stop reading — a per-hour meter is the most direct way to purchase it.
A giveaway is a volume problem. A price question is a wording problem. Tools are priced for one or the other.
Where wording matters more
A coach, a clinic, a boutique, a preset seller. Forty comments, six of them are genuinely different questions, and those six are where the money is. The sale is lost in the gap between "here is the link" and "yes, this will work for your skin type".
That is the part we built for. Templated replies are free and unlimited here, so the giveaway-shaped volume costs nothing, and one credit is spent only when the model writes a new reply in your voice. When it is unsure, your own template goes out instead — the written reply is an upgrade, never a replacement.
What to check in any tool you shortlist
- Official Meta API. Look for Graph API or Meta tech provider in writing. A tool asking for your Instagram password is a different category of risk entirely.
- What the meter counts. Delivery per hour, contacts, sends, or written replies — this is the number that moves in the week a Reel travels.
- The non-keyword comment. Ask what happens to a comment that matches nothing. "Nothing" is a valid answer; you just need to know it in advance.
- The refusal record. Windows close, duplicates arrive, humans take over. A named reason beats a guess every time.
The ten checks, and why a queue is one of them
Before anything sends here, ten checks run in a fixed order: kill switch, connection, takeover, window, dedupe, cooldown, quiet hours, rate budget, credits, content safety. The rate budget is on that list precisely because speed is not free — a burst looks like abuse to Instagram, so sends are paced, and every refusal is recorded with its reason for you to read afterwards.

What a viral post looks like here
A Reel travels, four hundred comments arrive in two hours, and most of them say "link". Every one of those is a templated send: free, unlimited, and paced by the rate budget so the account does not look like a bot to Instagram. Your bill does not move at all.
The forty that asked something else are where a credit gets spent, one per reply, and only if your templates did not already cover them. That is the whole difference in a sentence: the volume is free and the thinking is metered, rather than the volume being metered and the thinking unavailable.
If your busiest hour is mostly identical requests, you now know which of the two meters is cheaper for you without needing a table.
